This is a slightly disorganized review of The Crane, which is a reverse-pull headgear / facepulling device that I tried a couple years ago when I was first embarking on my palate expansion journey with the Meridian appliance.
I found it in my closet today, and since there was little to no information online about this thing when I was trying to decide whether to give it a shot, I figured I’d at least share my experience.
This is a thread I found on The Great Work forum where people talk about it a little.
These are the other three blog posts on my site that mention it: 1, 2, 3
And here’s the video I just recorded! If you have any questions about it, ask away – I’ll answer as best I can.
Hi! Thanks for sharing your experience! When was this video posted? Im curious to know if you have any updates since then?

Hi Aurora! Yes, I have! If you go to the homepage of my website, you should see all my updates listed in reverse-chronological order, with the newest at the top. You can also see all my videos on my YouTube channel.
I left a comment on the video, figured I would also comment here.
Just wondering how adjustable the front pole is? Can it be elevated to the point that the maxilla would be being pulled upwards, rather than down?
I am thinking about purchasing and this info would really help me.
Thanks for your blog and videos.

Hi Jordan! I know you already saw my reply on YouTube, but for the benefit of anyone who might be reading these comments later – yes, the front pole can be adjusted to the point where the maxilla would be pulled upwards rather than down!
